Martin E

Martin E is a creative sound designer, musician, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary audiovisual artist. Since 2021, he has worked in the film industry as a boom operator, field recorder, sound designer, and editor, contributing to feature films released on Netflix, including The Marriage App, and Amazon Prime, including No Salgas, as well as internationally award-winning independent short films such as Michelle, Señales Nocturnas, and the upcoming Del otro lado del puente, están las cosas que nunca dije.

His experience spans a diverse range of projects, including documentaries, institutional and commercial videos, social media content, animation, videogames, and experimental installations. He currently works in film and podcast production, with a focus on professional sound design and creative soundscapes.

A passionate multi-instrumentalist, Martin primarily plays bass. He is the founder of alternative fusion rock project Carpe Dreamers and bassist for Buenos Aires-based progressive metal band The Horizon Problem. He has also performed and recorded as a session musician for Disruptivo, Interpaul McCartney Tribute, and, since 2024, Kazz Juglar.

Martin has expanded his work into screenwriting, cinematography, lighting, and video editing. He currently writes, directs, and produces personal short films and music videos while teaching sound and screenwriting at the University of Buenos Aires. His additional creative interests include illustration, theater, and voice acting.
